Two Six Technologies is building a disciplined, scalable manufacturing ecosystem for secure, mission-critical hardware. We are seeking a Configuration Management/Quality Management (CM/QMS) Lead to establish and own the foundational systems that control product definition, documentation, and quality processes across production sites and contract manufacturers. This is a hands-on role - ideal for someone who thrives in building structure, processes, and tools from the ground up.

This is a hybrid position and we are looking for someone who ideally resides near one of our offices in the DC metro area and can travel as needed to our other locations.

What you will do:

Configuration Management (CM)

• Own the end-to-end configuration management function, including part numbering, BOM structure, and revision control.
• Establish and manage engineering change processes (ECR/ECO), including effectivity and implementation at internal and external manufacturing sites.
• Ensure consistency and traceability across CAD, ECAD, documentation, and manufacturing data.
• Serve as the primary administrator for the future PLM system, including implementation planning and data migration.
• Maintain controlled build packages and ensure production always uses the correct revision set.

Document Control & QMS

• Own the Quality Management System (QMS) framework, including procedures, templates, records, and training.
• Develop and roll out the document hierarchy: policies, SOPs, work instructions, forms.
• Manage internal audits, corrective actions (CAPA), NCR system, and deviations.
• Ensure QMS and CM processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory expectations (ITAR, NIST 800-171, ISO-alignment).
• Support supplier and CM audits for CM/QMS-related processes.

What you will need:

• Technical degree or comparable relevant additional experience
• 7+ years experience in configuration management, document control, QMS, or related roles
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill, Propel, etc.)
• Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle, BOM structures, and engineering/manufacturing workflows
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 principles
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in Defense, Aerospace, or hardware manufacturing

Security Clearance needed:

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$120,000—$180,000 USD
