Responsibilities

• Prepare technical accounting analysis and memorandums in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain significant accounting policies.
• Research, document, and present technical accounting conclusions, and other positions.
• Support the Director of Corporate Accounting to ensure technical conclusions and significant accounting policies are properly reflected in financial reporting.
• Preparation of financial statements and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Monitor and analyze new and proposed accounting standards issued by the SEC and the FASB to determine the impact to financial reporting, if any.

Key Competencies

• Technical Accounting & Disclosure.
• Accurate & Timely SEC Filings.
• Control Certifications.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Audit Processes.

Required Experience

• 7 - 9 years of technical accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm).
• CPA from any state; inactive CPAs will be considered.
• Prior experience working with SEC registrants (public companies).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience using Workiva.

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus:$150,000

Location: Onsite, Las Vegas, NV, USA
