Job Title: Forward Deployed Data Scientist

Job Description:

You will act as the technical anchor for Nory’s largest Enterprise customers, bridging the gap between complex ML models and real-world hospitality operations. Sitting at the intersection of Data Science and Consulting, you’ll lead multi-site rollouts, validate model performance, and ensure AI-driven insights translate into measurable ROI for global restaurant brands.

What you will do:

• Lead technical delivery for Enterprise rollouts, translating messy operational data into structured, deployable AI solutions and automated workflows.
• Conduct deep-dive validation analyses using SQL and Python to prove model efficacy and drive continuous improvement in forecasting logic.
• Act as a strategic partner to C-suite stakeholders, explaining complex algorithmic trade-offs while feeding frontline insights back to the Product and ML teams.

The ideal candidate:

• 6+ years of experience in technical, client-facing roles such as Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Strategy Consulting.
• Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python, with a strong grasp of applied statistics and model evaluation principles.
• Proven ability to navigate complex Enterprise environments and build high-level trust with Operations and Finance Directors at multi-unit businesses.
