ElectronX™ is the first U.S.-regulated, direct access electricity derivatives market, offering financial products to address volatile short-term price exposure to electricity. We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives across ElectronX's exchange infrastructure. In this 0→1 role, you’ll be responsible for finding product–market fit, making bold strategic bets, and building business lines with a founder-like mindset. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and organizational efficiency.

What will you be doing?

*Own and Execute the Strategic Roadmap*

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of ElectronX's strategic initiatives
• Rapidly prioritize and de-prioritize initiatives based on market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and strategic impact
• Develop clear, executable roadmaps that translate complex strategic goals into actionable plans

*Drive Cross-Functional Execution*

• Lead prioritization and execution across key business functions and company leadership
• Drive high-velocity execution with the ElectronX Engineering team, with an eye towards balancing tradeoffs between time to market and robust design
• Unblock cross-functional barriers and accelerate project velocity
• Identify critical path dependencies and proactively mitigate potential execution risks

*Shape Product and Customer Experience*

• Align customer feedback with technical architecture, crafting intuitive user experiences that drive engagement and usage

*Keep Leadership Aligned and Informed*

• Generate actionable intelligence through rigorous performance metrics and risk analysis
• Create transparent communication protocols that keep leadership aligned and informed
• Provide data-driven recommendations that directly inform executive decision-making

What we need from you:

• BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related)
• 5+ years of product management or adjacent product-building experience
• A 0 to 1 mindset and a low ego, high impact approach to your work
• Strong customer empathy and design thinking
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
• Experience in financial markets, energy sector, or regulatory compliance preferred
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and data analysis platforms

*Nice to have*

• You have trading experience, even as an armchair day-trader
• You have experience in energy markets and familiarity with the intricacies of the electricity market
• You have a passion for marketplaces and fintech infrastructure
• You're passionate about clean energy and its intersection with financial markets
• You have a deep understanding of technology infrastructure in financial markets
