What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
• Architect and maintain a new AI data infrastructure
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Risk on AI governance
• Implement ethical AI frameworks and compliance standards to Scout’s first AI data portfolio
• Support model deployment and monitoring of systems along with assessing and integrating new AI tools.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role is based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
- The responsibilities of this role require 4-5 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
What you’ll bring

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, AI operations, or governance.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ETL, and data security.
- Familiarity with AI ethics, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
- Program Management experience including reporting and documentation.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $180,000.00 - $220,000.00
Initial California base salary range = $198,000.00 - $242,000.00
