Your Purpose

As a Senior Platform Engineer you will be in charge of building self-service functionalities to enable our backend, frontend and mobile developers so they can ship products faster  and will be helping improve the reliability, monitoring and scalability of our platform. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software platforms.

This position demands a deep understanding of backend engineering, cloud technologies, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) tools, and container orchestration.

Engineering Manager

Who You Are

• + Backend Engineering Expertise: Minimum of 6 years experience designing, building and writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, etc.) for complex, distributed backend systems, preferably with either Java or Go.

+ Cloud Technologies: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, with a strong preference for AWS.

+ Continuous Integration Tools: Extensive experience with multiple CI tools such as AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions,Gradle and CircleCI.

+ Continuous Deployment Tools: In-depth experience with CD tools, preferably ArgoCD.

+ Container Orchestration: At least 4 years of experience working with Kubernetes.

+ Monitoring and Logging: Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools

+ Proven English fluency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps tooling (specifically ArgoCD)
• Experience developing apps in Golang.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable platform technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Optimize and enhance existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
