We are looking for talents to help us lead Coupang’s expansion in Taiwan. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and create a world where our customers wonder, “How did I ever live without Coupang?”
Role Overview
As our KOL Operations lead for the Taiwan market, you will be the engine behind our influencer ecosystem. You aren't just managing a list of names; you are building a network from the ground up. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of KOL/KOC engagement—from initial "hunting" and agency negotiations to platform onboarding, campaign management, and final financial settlement.
What You Will Do
- Talent Acquisition & Hunting
- Identify & Recruit: Proactively hunt and onboard high-performing KOLs and KOCs across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Threads).
- Agency Relations: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with Taiwan’s top MCNs (Multi-Channel Networks) and talent agencies.
- Pitching: Effectively communicate our platform’s value proposition to convert "cold" leads into active platform users.
- Platform Operations & Management
- Onboarding: Guide KOLs through the technical setup of our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Campaign Lifecycle: Oversee day-to-day campaign executions, ensuring KOLs meet deadlines, follow brand guidelines, and post high-quality content.
- Retention: Act as the primary point of contact for talent, resolving issues quickly to maintain high platform loyalty.
- Financial Settlement & Administration
- Billing & Contracts: Manage the end-to-end contracting process for both independent creators and agencies.
- Performance Tracking: Verify deliverables against agreed KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion).
- Final Settlement: Handle the monthly billing cycle, ensuring accurate payments, tax compliance (Taiwan-specific requirements), and timely closing of accounts.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in Influencer Marketing, Talent Management, or Agency Operations within the Taiwan market.
- Network: An existing "rolodex" of Taiwan KOLs and agency contacts is a massive plus.
- Hard Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools and Excel (for settlement tracking).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills and a "hunter" mindset. You should be comfortable making the first move.
- Language: Native-level Fluency in Traditional Chinese; Professional English proficiency.
