Position: Senior C++ Engineer
We're looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to join the team developing the core trading engine for a global electronic trading platform.
The team is focused on the core trading engine where actual trading happens — processing incoming messages, matching trades, and implementing various trading protocols such as RFQ, Click-to-Trade, and List Trading.
A key aspect of the role is leveraging modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and internal solutions) to accelerate onboarding, analyze code, identify bottlenecks, and improve development efficiency.
What You Will Do
*▫️*Develop and enhance core trading systems for Fixed Income and Derivative Securities
*▫️*Work effectively in a small, high-performing software development team
*▫️*Collaborate with both technical team members and non-technical business stakeholders
*▫️*Contribute to the continuous improvement of the trading technology stack
Required
*▫️*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
*▫️*5+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++14/20) in Windows/Linux environments
*▫️*Strong core CS fundamentals: OOP, STL, multithreading, concurrency
*▫️*Experience with high-performance systems (low-latency, high-throughput, distributed)
*▫️*Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, latency, throughput)
*▫️*Strong debugging skills and ability to work with large codebases
*▫️*Experience using AI tools in development/debugging workflows
*▫️*Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
Nice to Have
*▫️*Experience developing financial software or trading systems (e.g., Fixed Income, Derivatives)
*▫️*Experience with SQL stored procedures
*▫️*Knowledge of relational database design and implementation
