This role offers full autonomy to build, deploy, and monitor models using state-of-the-art ML techniques.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and deploy sophisticated credit risk and underwriting models for the US market using Python and experiment tracking tools like MLFlow.
• Extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources, including global Credit Bureau data, to improve model accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior data scientists, translating complex business challenges into actionable data science solutions for senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience building and shipping commercial machine learning models in production environments, ideally within credit, lending, or financial services.
• High proficiency in Python and the modern ML stack, with a strong grasp of the trade-offs between different machine learning architectures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead projects independently and explain sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
