YOUR NEW TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Customer Communication team. Our mission is to connect people to enable the best loan application process possible. That is why we create an innovative omni-channel communication landscape by building services that ensure a meaningful and right-in-time communication with our customers in a fully automated way along the whole customer journey. This includes email, sms, rcs, WhatsApp and most important: our fully automated dialer for in- and out-bound calls as core service for our loan advisors. In addition to that we constantly optimize main parameters of the customer experience by data-driven experiments around customer value, timings etc. using a sophisticated self-built optimization framework.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Work in a data-intensive distributed environment with different NodeJS and Typescript services that run on AWS Lambda and Kubernetes
• Ensure stable and reliable customer communication services, with well-managed and tracked traffic
• Conceptualize and build new features, improve existing systems and optimize business-critical performance and efficiency parameters
• Proactively contribute ideas on increasing efficiency by integrating artificial intelligence into our systems and processes
• Take active part in the decision-making processes of your team (goals, concepts, timelines, stack)
• Collaborate closely with our Product Owner to plan and continuously develop new features within the team’s domain
• Take end-to-end ownership of development and operations, following our “you build it, you run it, you own it” philosophy which also includes DevOps tasks

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong experience with Node.js using TypeScript
• Professional experience with AI and LLM systems, ideally in customer communication
• Skilled in scaling services to handle traffic spikes, caching and optimizing MySQL queries
• Extensive experience with AWS and containerized microservice infrastructures, ideally running on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Familiar with the “LGTM” Grafana stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo and Mimir/Prometheus)
• Experience working across teams and in cross-functional projects
• Experience in customer communications and service provider advisory tools like Twilio, CrossEngage/Spotler Activate Pro or Segment is a big plus
• Passionate about your work and a great communicator, always eager to share knowledge
• Proactive and ownership-driven while working in a highly collaborative environment
• Experienced in agile environments, ideally in startup-like companies or flat hierarchies
