Join our People & Systems team as an International People Business Partner and partner with senior leaders and their organizations to align innovative talent strategies with business objectives, delivering tailored, value-added support to international cross-functional teams. This critical role will develop our international people protocols and talent frameworks, which are essential to supporting our global expansion.
Role is based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters. #LI-Hybrid
You will:
- Establish yourself as a knowledgeable, trusted, reliable partner for the team members of your client groups
- Collaborate with other People and Systems Teams in the design and implementation of People programs to attract, retain, and promote a dynamic and innovative workforce
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support key business objectives and drive group-level, function-level, and overall organizational performance
- Provide strategic guidance on a wide range of people-related topics, including organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and other key initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative people-related programs and initiatives
- Leverage data to identify People insights, that inform and drive strategic discussions and strategies for client groups
- Serve as an executive coach, provide guidance, and support the development of our leaders
- You will report to one of the three Senior Director, People Business Partner Leads
You have:
- 7+ years of experience as an HRBP/PBP within an engineering-centric organization or have transferable experience as a an internal people business strategist in large, global and/or complex technical organizations; or Head of People of small technical start-ups; or leadership development consultant for large consulting firm; or similar experience
- An ability to present a clear and strategic point-of-view to influence senior management while being able to defend and voice the thought process and rationale behind recommendations
- Experience developing and implementing internal talent frameworks, people programs, and operating protocols to support International teams
- The experience to design and deliver innovative approaches that integrate AI technologies in workforce planning, talent management, change management, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, culture transformation, and organizational design
- The ability to synthesize complex situations into a digestible format for business leaders and their teams
- The ability to deal with highly confidential and sensitive information
- The unique ability to flourish, and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity
- Flexibility to work varied time zones as needed
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Annual Salary Range
$240,600—$270,630 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
