Job responsibilities

• Design end-to-end digital experiences, from discovery through validation, ensuring user and business needs are reflected at every stage.
• Translate complex business and user problems into functional, scalable, and accessible solutions grounded in UX/UI best practices.
• Lead experience decisions within the squad, working closely with Product Management and Technology to align on scope, priorities, and outcomes.
• Validate hypotheses through research, experimentation, and data-driven methods including A/B testing and metrics analysis.
• Apply design research methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, and user testing to influence decisions, not just execution.
• Use data visualization techniques to communicate research findings and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with clients and internal teams to align on strategy and drive buy-in.
• Ensure project scope, risks, and design updates are regularly assessed and clearly communicated to all key stakeholders.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize research, prototyping, and documentation workflows.
• Support less experienced designers on the team and contribute to the broader Thoughtworks experience design community.

Job qualifications

Technical skills

• You bring proven experience in digital product design, with strong UX/UI and prototyping skills across web and mobile.
• You have hands-on experience working with metrics and data-driven decision-making to guide and validate design choices.
• You bring a solid understanding of accessibility standards and their application in product design.
• You have familiarity with experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and hypothesis-driven design.
• You bring knowledge of or an active interest in AI applied to design processes and tooling.
• You have data visualization skills that you apply to storytelling and stakeholder communication.

Professional skills

• You are bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to work fluidly across both languages in client-facing and internal contexts.
• You bring strong systemic thinking and the ability to frame strategic design decisions at the product and portfolio level.
• You are comfortable leading discovery processes and influencing direction through research, not only execution.
• You are skilled at facilitating client and team sessions, driving alignment across multidisciplinary agile teams.
• You are a clear communicator who can present research methods, findings, and design rationale to diverse audiences.
• You bring a collaborative and adaptable mindset, with experience navigating complex stakeholder relationships and building trust.
