As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be a key member of the Safety Accounts design team, playing a critical role in building the systems that keep Roblox safe, civil, and inclusive for a global community. You’ll focus on creating platform-level designs that make all accounts on Roblox accessible, authentic, and protected.

We also work on building a world-class account access and management system, ensuring safe and fun family experiences, supporting compliance with global regulations, and providing a healthy, inclusive environment for users of all ages.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and research, shaping the platform's approach to trust and safety through thoughtful design. This is an opportunity to work at the systems level—defining how safety and account are embedded across Roblox and designing reusable frameworks that power our vision of civil immersive online communities.

You will:

• Create clear, compelling, and empathetic experiences that help users access and manage their accounts safely and provide pathways to positive family engagement.
• Design for diverse audiences—young users, teens, adults, brands, and creators—ensuring educational moments are accessible, age-appropriate, and effective.
• Collaborate with the Foundation Design Systems team to develop scalable, reusable patterns for across safety features
• Use data, research, and experimentation to develop a deep understanding of user behavior to inform design decisions and improve reform outcomes.
• Partner cross-functionally with policy, product, and engineering teams to ensure quality, strategic alignment,and best-in-class user experience.
• Help define the UX strategy and roadmap for account experiences that helps Roblox to be a safe place.

You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Design, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in UX/UI design, with a strong track record of delivering innovative consumer social experiences
• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and user-centered design thinking. Direct Safety or Accounts experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand and design for complex workflows and interactions.
• Ability to balance business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints in design solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Creative in innovating to produce components and patterns that are cohesive with the rest of Roblox's products.
• Motivated and always expanding your skills by looking for new tools and techniques.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range

$214,710—$255,720 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
