While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to maximize our collaboration efficiency, with GRC platforms primarily Archer and Workiva. You will drive smarter, async-first communication, reduce noise and toil, and leverage AI to connect conversations with work artifacts. Partnering closely with Engineering, IT, Security, Compliance, and risk stakeholders, you’ll own the product vision and roadmap, align teams on clear customer and business outcomes, and measure impact through meaningful improvements in signal‑to‑noise ratio, focus time, and execution velocity as we shift low‑value chat to durable, high‑value collaboration. You will own the GRC platform North Star and make informed long term strategic decisions in line with company goals and industry best practices.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Own the strategic and tactical roadmap for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function and for policy and compliance teams’ use of our key platforms, aligning outcomes to Coinbase’s strategic priorities.
• Translate multi‑year strategy into an executable plan by defining problem statements, target outcomes, and a prioritized backlog of capabilities, features, and technologies with clear KPIs/OKRs.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery across discovery, scoping, and execution with agile teams; manage risks, dependencies, and timelines; and drive adoption through change management, enablement, and training
• Establish governance and communication rhythms to define, manage, and communicate the roadmap; run stakeholder reviews; and provide executive‑ready updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Raise the bar on platform quality by driving standardization, interoperability, data quality, and embedded controls across ERM and compliance workflows; ensure scalability, reliability, and auditability
• Act as a thought partner to senior leaders on ERM and compliance platform strategy, bringing external perspective and best practices to inform decisions

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

• 6+ years of experience, preferably in business applications development or product management for internal products
• Process and business understanding in the domains of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Compliance, Technology Risk
• Background working within an Agile environment and using Jira
• Cross functional experience working on technical challenges across diverse business units (ERM,  Compliance, Product, Legal , Finance ). Able to align diverse stakeholders—from engineers to compliance teams—behind a shared vision.
• Experience working with large and small companies (if only one, preference for large company experience)
• BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Business Administration desired
• Experience with vendor management and third party software implementations
• Experience with managing or implementing Archer, Workiva or similar ERM platform is desired
• Multi-project management skills
• User obsession: Relentless focus on creating intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable experiences
• Analytical skills: Skilled at market sizing, opportunity assessment, and turning complex data into actionable product insights
• Demonstrated experience driving AI-powered products
• Demonstrated unlimited curiosity: proactively researching, identifying, experimenting with and adapting new technologies and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive and perform under pressure.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working with financial institutions and entities is a plus
• Experience with building 0 to 1 software applications for internal customers/Business Units

Pay Transparency Notice:Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$176,035—$207,100 USD
