Senior Social Media & Outreach Specialist (Lead)

The Senior Social Media & Outreach Specialist is responsible for growing Planet VPN’s presence across social platforms and external distribution channels. The role combines hands-on social media management, community building, outreach via portals, and influencer/creator partnerships to drive product visibility and user growth.

What You'll Do

Social media & community

• Own Telegram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube: content planning, publishing, tone of voice, and basic analytics.
• Manage the Telegram channel and bot end-to-end, including automation flows and subscriber engagement.
• Build and moderate active communities (with a focus on Reddit and Telegram), monitor brand mentions, and handle comments and reviews across platforms.

Influencers, creators & partnerships

• Research and evaluate Telegram channels, YouTube creators, and other relevant partners by audience quality, fit, and pricing.
• Manage the full partnership cycle: outreach, negotiation, briefing, content review, publication, and post-campaign analysis.
• Maintain a structured database of active and potential partners and track performance against agreed KPIs.

Outreach & product distribution

• Manage presence on directories and review platforms: accounts, uploads, product info, screenshots, and changelogs.
• Maintain and expand the list of placement sites, negotiate and secure listings with editors and webmasters, and keep pages up to date.
• Work with SEO on content relevance.

Content, video & collaboration

• Work closely with content, design, SEO, and video specialists to produce platform-native content for social media and creator integrations.
• Provide structured briefs and key messages for posts and videos, and repurpose assets across channels in a native way.
• Contribute to content and messaging experiments (including A/B tests) to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Performance & AI-driven workflows

• Define and monitor KPIs for channels, placements, and campaigns, preparing clear, regular reports with insights and next steps.
• Use AI tools and automation (GPT, agents, outreach tools) to speed up research, content drafting, reporting, and routine operations.
• Improve internal processes and playbooks for social media, outreach, and influencer marketing.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, community management, and influencer/partner marketing on Telegram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Proven experience managing brand channels and communities, including planning, publishing, and basic performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience running influencer or creator collaborations end-to-end.
• Experience with outreach to external platforms (directories, review sites, portals).
• Strong understanding of how the platforms work: formats, audience behavior, and platform rules.
• Experience leading and coordinating small teams.
• English C1 or higher and strong written communication skills.
• Strong ownership, reliability, and ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing detail.

Nice-to-have

• Proactive use of AI tools and automation to improve speed and quality of work.
• Experience with SaaS, mobile apps, VPN, cybersecurity, utilities, or other IT products.
• Experience working with social video formats (YouTube, Shorts, Reels) and their basic performance metrics.
