Responsibilities
- Drive Coupang Pay's technical programs in platform, product and security engineering
- End-to-end responsibility: from diagnostic and strategy development to execution and accountability for quarterly and annual goals
- Develop new tools and process to support the strategic direction of the Fintech organization
- Prioritize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
- Work with internal stakeholders (tech, finance, legal, marketing teams) to drive scalable solutions
- Identify system and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Define tech metrics and able to help team enhance engineering excellence
Basic Qualifications
- Practical understanding of technical architectures (APIs, Cloud, Web Services) within the Payment, Fintech, or Financial Services domains
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end
- Experience collaborating effectively with non-engineering departments such as Business, Operations, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Compliance - with the ability to bi-directionally translate between technical realities and business/regulatory requirements
- Experience handling structured and unstructured data and translating it into actionable business insights
- Proven ability to effectively lead various meetings and workstreams
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Engineering or related field)
Preferred Qualifications
- Transitioned from a software engineering background to a Technical Program Management (TPM) role
- Working proficiency in English

- In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
