About the role: What's in the Box

The service provider will contribute to the evolution of HelloFresh’s global reach by optimizing how digital products are adapted for international markets. This project scope involves the strategic alignment of UX localization with global business objectives, ensuring that the digital experience feels native to millions of users across 16 countries and six distinct brands. As an external expert, you will provide the technical and operational framework necessary to integrate localization seamlessly into the product development lifecycle, utilizing cutting-edge AI automation to drive efficiency and quality.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Refine UX Localization strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Content Design & Localization (primary stakeholder) to provide a specialized framework for localizing UX content in line with global goals.
• Manage the Localization process: Lead the end-to-end service delivery for UX content localization, ensuring high-quality, culturally appropriate outputs from external copywriters and agencies.
• Build AI-enabled localization workflows: Design and implement automated processes, including machine translation integration, LLM-assisted reviews, and automated QA checks to improve scalability
• Cross-functional collaboration: Provide technical guidance to product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure localization requirements are integrated into early-stage product discovery and campaign development.
• Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external translation vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards are met.
• Process Optimization: Conduct regular audits of localization workflows within tools like Lokalise and Jira to improve delivery speed and resource efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous testing systems for live environments to ensure linguistic accuracy and a consistent user experience across all supported languages.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide expertise and advocacy for localization best practices across HelloTech to increase organizational maturity regarding global product standards.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Extensive experience leading localization programs for high-growth consumer products.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience using Jira and localization tools like Lokalise.
• Proven experience in managing professional service delivery from translators and translation agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and optimize complex localization processes.
• Deep understanding of cultural adaptation and internationalization (i18n) best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; fluency in English is mandatory, while additional language proficiency is a significant plus.
