On Behalf of a Discretionary Allocator / Multi-Manager Platform
We are partnering with an established allocator (running internal funds + external SMAs) actively seeking high-quality quantitative trading teams and individual traders to allocate significant capital.
Allocator Background
- Experienced multi-manager allocator with roots in traditional finance (ex-Brevan Howard, Citadel Multi-Manager etc).
- Currently manages ~$20M+ AUM across strategies, including 3 internal funds launched in 2024 and large external SMAs, plans to scale to 100M+ with investors ready to deploy.
- Team footprint: London & New York trading/PM focus; engineering support (consulting basis) in Hong Kong.
- Proven track record in equity multi-manager and market-neutral/arbitrage approaches.
- Deep crypto trading connections and capital introduction expertise.
What We're Looking For
Proven teams or individuals generating consistent P&L in Crypto:
- Quantitative / systematic strategies
- High-Frequency Trading (HFT)
- Statistical / execution arbitrage
- Delta-neutral / market-neutral setups
- Relative value, latency-driven edges, counterparty/special connections, or niche arbitrage opportunities
Ideal profiles include:
- Current or former prop traders / small teams at established prop firms or hedge funds.
- Independent quant groups with live track record but latent / under-deployed capacity.
- Individuals or small teams (2-5 people) with strong engineering, low-latency execution, or unique alpha sources.
- Top performing teams at any scale interested in external funding.
- Preference for backgrounds from top-tier firms (HFT shops, multi-strats, pods, etc.).
The Opportunity
- Significant capital allocation via SMA or fund structure (external mandate, no need to launch your own full fund).
- Competitive economics: performance-aligned (fixed + variable components discussed based on strategy/track record).
- Discovery & trust-based process: direct conversations with allocator to explore fit.
- Potential to scale with proven results; allocator has onboarded external teams successfully.
- Flexible: can be individuals, pods, or small teams — not requiring a full prop firm setup.
This is not a traditional job — it's an introduction to capital for strong performers who may be capacity-constrained, seeking better terms, or open to external backing at the right time.
