Why you should join the Mobile App Growth team

The Mobile App Growth team, a diverse group of accomplished engineers, focuses extensively on developing new, greenfield projects within the mobile application domain. Their work is cross-functional, spanning various mobile platforms, and includes developing full-stack solutions to support product features exposed to mobile users via our SDKs.

Over the past year, the Mobile App Growth team at Klaviyo has introduced new mobile-first features (like geofencing and in-app forms) and enhanced Klaviyo’s mobile integration offerings. This expansion has augmented the scope of the team’s responsibilities. With new products to cultivate and integrations to support, the team requires a highly capable software engineer to help manage the increasing demands within Klaviyo's mobile ecosystem.

This engineer will contribute to the expansion and maintenance of the team’s mobile SDK offerings, furthering current product features and extending Klaviyo’s reach beyond traditional email marketing into comprehensive mobile engagement.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You will be a core member of the Mobile App Growth team, working on impactful mobile experiences making mobile integrations a core pillar of Klaviyo’s offerings
• Work closely with product to provide the best experience for our customers.
• Take ownership of projects from inception to release.
• Work across different mobile technologies
• Work in the Django framework to help build out a pipeline for rendered mobile experiences.

Who you are

Deep experience modern mobile development (either Android, iOS or cross-platform experience)

• Open to working with different technologies: Python, React, AWS, GoLang (prior experience not required but nice to have)
• Have a proven track record of leading projects and collaborating well with the wider team
• Experience working with mobile webviews and location services.
• Comfortable leveraging AI technologies effectively in personal contributions.
• Self-starter - As the member of the team, we are looking for someone who can bring with them expertise in mobile development.
• Adaptability - We will be working not just in native SDKs but also backend and frontend Klaviyo stacks, dev tooling and possible expansion into tertiary SDKs in the future.
• Ambition - We are looking for people that can take an idea and have the ambition to headline it in the future.
• Learning - To be always learning is a core value at Klaviyo and this role will require someone excited to learn new technologies and expose themselves to new approaches

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.

In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:

$116,000—$174,000 USD
