Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Engineering team on a hybrid basis in Bangalore, reporting to the Manager, Software Development Engineering.

You will contribute as a development engineer within our Engineering team, helping to build and enhance the world’s largest cloud security platform. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components that can be used across multiple projects and platforms
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into functional, pixel-perfect, and WCAG compliant components
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams to ship best-in-class user experiences
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of UI components
• Troubleshoot UI component issues while documenting technical specifications and best practices for reusable components

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of extensive UI engineering experience with a deep focus on architecting and delivering large-scale, production-ready applications using ReactJS and Redux
• Ability to translate Figma designs into high-quality code using HTML, CSS, ReactJS, TypeScript, Storybook, and Jest
• Expertise in CSS positioning and the box model, prioritizing Semantic HTML to build accessible, well-structured web applications
• A champion of clear documentation, testing, and automation, viewing them as integral components of a high-quality UI engineering workflow

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with version control systems and package managers
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for UI components
• A self-directed collaborator with excellent communication skills, a sharp attention to detail, and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time
