Get to Know Our Team

Supply team is working on developing a website for partners that allows them to manage their hotels' pricing, promotions, and allotments on Agoda. This involves engaging in discussions with the product team, developing new features, and running experiments to measure the benefits these features bring to the company.

The Opportunity

As a full-stack engineer on an agile team, you will get to experience various parts of Agoda systems that handle millions of users every day, ranging from frontend (both Web and App platforms) to backend, including data and infrastructure.

What you’ll Do

• Collaborate in an agile product team using hypothesis-driven development.
• Visualize product usage with a BI visualization tool (e.g., Superset or Metabase).
• Use A/B Testing and make product related decisions based on data.
• Develop User Interfaces with our frontend technology (React / Redux / Typescript).
• Contribute to Agoda mobile apps using advanced architectures and test methodologies.
• Develop RESTful / GraphQL APIs (C# / Scala).
• Create real-time monitoring for the production system you have built.

What we’re looking for

• Studying or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any related fields.
• Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.
• Coding skill in any languages e.g, C#, SQL, Scala, TypeScript, Java, JavaScript, Python, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Able to understand and communicate ideas clearly with team members.
• Strong communication skills.

Bonus Points for

• Experience with databases (e.g., RDBMS and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with modern frontend or mobile technology e.g. React, Vue, Angular.
• Experience building applications with .NET and React.
• Proficient in OOP, SOLID principles, TDD, and CI/CD systems.
• GitHub profile especially contributing to open source projects.
