ABOUT THE ROLE

Hut 8 is seeking a Supply Chain Summer Intern to support vendor management and logistics across active data center development projects. This role will focus on building a standardized Long Lead Risk Dashboard to improve visibility into supplier performance, delivery timelines, and schedule risk. The intern will take ownership of refining and scaling logistics tracking systems across projects, with the opportunity to extend this into a PowerBI and/or language model-driven dashboard with tailored, cross-functional reporting. This is a highly analytical role at the intersection of procurement, construction, and capital planning, with direct impact on live project execution of multi-billion dollar developments. 

Some of the responsibilities you can expect include the following:

• Create templated logistics / Long Lead Risk Dashboard for use across projects

• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and schedule risk exposure

• Identify gaps in current reporting and improve data structure and consistency

• Support vendor management and expediting efforts to mitigate delivery risks

• Develop structured data models and reporting frameworks for stakeholders

• Collaborate with Construction, Engineering, and Finance to align on reporting needs

• Determine what is required to create a dashboard with permissioned access and tailored reporting views

• Document processes and create scalable systems for long-term enablement

ABOUT YOU

• Currently a junior or senior in a Bachelor’s program

• Pursuing degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Ops, Finance, Econ, or related field

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, structured datasets

• Experience or interest in data modeling and dashboarding (PowerBI or similar)

• Highly analytical with a structured problem-solving approach

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to build from scratch

• High attention to detail and data hygiene discipline

• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technically complex environment at the intersection of energy and AI
