ANALYTICS DEVELOPER

What experience should you have:

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience and a strong foundation in front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience working with Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, CJA, and/or Target.
• Understanding of web analytics concepts (data collection, tagging, interpreting results).
• A proven history of converting complex business requirements into robust analytics implementations and solution design reference (SDR) documents.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner to both developers and client stakeholders, even in challenging situations.

Nice to have:

• Background in consulting or client-facing work.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

• Work closely with analytics teams and developers to define, document, and implement robust, EDDL (event-driven dataLayer) schemas for enterprise sites.
• Implement and maintain analytics and marketing tags via Adobe Launch, ensuring efficient execution, minimal site-weight impact, and adherence to timelines.
• Perform rigorous QA of tags onsite and within reporting suites to ensure 100% data integrity.
• Support the technical setup and launch of Adobe Target tests. Ensure flicker-free integration and accurate event tracking to drive successful personalization activities.
• Build strong partnerships with clients to help grow our business. Join sales pitches to explain technical details and provide accurate project estimates to ensure our work is both successful and profitable.
• Build the expertise of our team through mentoring, training, and developing sustainable solutions to share knowledge and best practices across the engineering practice.

What you'll need to accomplish in your first year:

• Develop and launch multiple high-quality experiments from build to deployment.
• Deliver analytics solutions that drive measurable business impact and identify opportunities to bring additional value to our clients.
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing tagging libraries for key clients, optimizing custom code for performance, reliability, and security.
• Establish a standardized "Source of Truth" for client data layers and develop a repository for team-wide knowledge sharing.
• Become a go-to technical resource for troubleshooting and a key voice in defining technical scope for new client opportunities.
