iLogos Game Studios is an experienced game development partner founded in 2006, with over 400 completed projects and collaborations with major companies such as EA, Sony, Disney, Rovio, and Ubisoft. The company is expanding and looking for an Art Lead to manage and grow art teams across multiple projects, combining leadership, production oversight, and high-level artistic direction.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Lead hiring and team building across all art disciplines
• Mentor, support, and develop artists at different levels
• Maintain team structure and onboarding standards
• Plan and manage department budget and resource allocation
• Oversee workload distribution and staffing across projects
• Track team performance and identify gaps or improvements
• Collaborate with management on scaling the art department
• Ensure visual quality and consistency across all projects
• Review artwork and provide actionable feedback
• Resolve artistic and production challenges efficiently
• Align teams with pipelines, best practices, and project goals
📚 Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in game art including leadership roles
• Strong artistic judgment across 2D, 3D, and animation
• Solid understanding of art production pipelines
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience with budgeting, planning, and resource management
• Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and evaluating artists
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience in outsourcing or service-based game development
• Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or Figma
• Hands-on experience with Unity, Unreal, or similar tools
