Role
As a Business Development Representative (EMEA), you'll play a pivotal role in driving our EMEA revenue growth. Serving as a vital link between marketing and sales, you'll lead outreach efforts to expand into new markets, while also qualifying warm leads to strengthen our sales pipeline. Your focus will be on research, targeted prospecting, and generating high-quality opportunities that highlight our unique value proposition.
This strategic role gives you the autonomy to be creative/proactive with your outbound and inbound strategies. So you won’t be given a script to repeat. Instead, you’ll be given goals and work with your manager to build the messaging/workflows/strategies needed to achieve them together.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities from net-new greenfield accounts that align with runZero’s ICP
- Find and qualify leads through outbound prospecting methods using our sales automation tools
- Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (account executives, marketing, sales operations, fellow BDRs)
- Oversee and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, while strategically partnering with account executives to create and utilize playbooks to win prioritized accounts
- Create account plans by conducting research and synthesizing information and other materials that reflect a grasp of runZero’s customers’ needs and how runZero delivers value
- Write emails and letters you'd love to open; ask compelling questions
- Help drive target contacts to attend marketing events and reply to our campaigns by following up on Account-Based Marketing campaigns and partnering with Marketing
- Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in our CRM
Requirements
- Passionate about delighting customers with exceptional relationship-building
- A drive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals
- Genuine curiosity and excitement about IT security
- An effective listener, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive contributor in meetings who consistently expresses thoughtful ideas
- This person must be located in the Greater London, United Kingdom area
Salary range:
runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, we’re expecting this role to come in at a salary of £63,000 OTE, plus stock options.
