🔑 What You’ll Do
- Build and nurture relationships with general contractors, architects, facility managers, property owners, and building engineers
- Prospect and qualify commercial opportunities such as warehouse doors, dock systems, sectional doors, access controls, rolling steel doors, and gate systems
- Conduct site visits and job walks to assess existing conditions and system needs
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, estimates, and bids
- Collaborate with operations, technical, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Serve as a product expert — stay current on codes, materials, hardware, and new door technologies
- Represent Goody at trade shows, local associations, and networking events
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and manage your sales pipeline professionally
- Facilitate post-installation follow-ups, warranty relationships, and upsell/maintenance renewals

- Proven sales experience in construction, industrial doors, garage doors, or building products
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specs, and architectural plans (preferred)
- Technical aptitude and curiosity — you love learning how things work
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM software, Excel, and Microsoft Office (or equivalents)
- Self-driven, disciplined, and able to manage your own territory
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to commit to a non-compete or geographic restriction (if required)
