AFS is in search of a Data Engineer to develop stages of distributed parallel data processing pipelines, which includes but is not limited to: configuring data connections, data parsing, data normalization, data mapping and modeling, data enrichment, and integration with data analytics

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the data processing pipelines in accordance with the availability requirements of the platform Follow agile methodologies when applied to the data engineering part of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
• Update technical documentation such as system design documentation (SDD); standard operating procedures (SOPs); and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); and training material

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline covered under Science, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years of experience in any of the following:

+ Digital transformation processes to secure, cloud-based data systems improving accessibility and operational efficiency

+ Experience in ETL pipelines, cloud-based infrastructures, and large-scale data analysis

+ Experience delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning products largely related to natural language processing

+ Experience as a software engineer, data analyst

+ Experience with Python or PySpark

• Engaged with stakeholders to refine user requirements and align solutions with business objectives

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a data engineer
• 1 year of experience developing, operating, and maintaining data processing pipelines in a classified environment
• 1 year of experience data mapping, modeling, enriching, and correlating classified data
• 1 year of experience with Python/PySpark
• 1 year of experience with Java/Java interface to Spark
• 1 year of experience with Palantir Foundry

CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:

$109,300—$150,900 USD
