Project Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with modern data technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and analysts to build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

Technologies

SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)

Python (or another scripting language)

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

What You'll Do

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines;

Support data integration from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files);

Help ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability;

Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements;

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation;

Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, resolving issues as they arise;

Job Requirements

1+ years of practical experience or relevant internship in a data-focused role (preferred);

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);

Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server);

Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python);

Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals;

Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices in data engineering;

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

Effective communication and teamwork abilities;

English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher;
