Overview of Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Delivery Manager with a strong Scrum Master background to lead and support our agile software development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget. You will leverage your expertise in Scrum methodologies to guide and coach teams, remove impediments, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Job Location - Pune and Bangalore - Hybrid mode

Responsibilities

Delivery Management:

• Plan and manage the delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Define project scope, timelines, and resources, and track progress against plans.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues that may impact delivery.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes and outcomes.

Scrum Mastery:

• Guide and coach development teams on Scrum principles, practices, and values.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
• Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team environment.
• Promote continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and practices.
• Implement and promote best practices in agile software development.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the organization's agile framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager in an agile software development environment.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a deep understanding of Scrum methodologies and practices.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) are highly desirable.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
