2. Role Summary / Purpose
The Director of Hotel Intelligence, Americasis responsible for driving business growth by leveraging data and industry relationships. This position is responsible for leading the development and promotion of P&L benchmarking analytics, using data to enhance all aspects of business development across the Americas region. As a HotStats Subject Matter Expert, you will provide critical insights and analysis that directly impact strategic decisions for our clients and the company.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on new sales leads to build a robust and qualified sales pipeline.
- Manage the entire pipeline process, from initial contact and qualification through to deal closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms and handle client objections to successfully close new business deals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client data in the CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver compelling, value-driven sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain expertise on product capabilities, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Create and deliver key knowledge and learning content to enable internal teams and external partners
- Participate in industry conferences and events to represent Duetto and drive lead generation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partners on GTM plays to increase qualified pipeline and close-rates.
- Provide product feedback to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams, identifying opportunities to improve GTM strategy and processes.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support team and company priorities.
4. Qualifications
Required:
- 6+ years of go-to-market experience, specifically in sales or sales engineering
- In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, including operational best practices and market trends.
Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with a proven track record of effectively negotiating with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30%), including international trips.
Preferred:
- Specialized skills, knowledge, or experience within the Hospitality technology industry, specifically revenue management.
- Knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).
- Prior experience working directly with organizational leaders and executive teams.
- Proven track record of success in a high-pressure, sales-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Portuguese
