At JetBrains, code is our passion. Ever since we started, back in 2000, we have strived to make the most effective developer tools on earth. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.

The Coding Agents department at JetBrains is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible by leveraging the latest advancements in AI and LLMs, the capabilities of our IDEs, and our expertise in software development.

We are currently focused on two core products and plan to launch them in private EAPs in the next few months:

• A coding agent that is designed to empower developers to solve tasks 10 times faster and tackle more ambitious projects. This is made possible by an optimized agentic pipeline, seamless IDE integration, and a well-designed human-in-the-loop process. We’re now beginning to dogfood the early version.
• An app generation platform that enables end-to-end web app generation to empower not only developers but creators of all kinds. To get a fully functional application, users can simply describe its specifications in natural language and the platform will handle the development and deployment. Our prototype is already fully functional.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and launch new features.
• Use the products we develop every day and continuously iterate on improving the product experience and quality.
• Own the end-to-end development process from early research experiments to production code.
