The Role

Lead GEO & AEO strategy for Germany's #1 real estate platform. You'll ensure ImmoScout24’s visibility in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and more. You'll work closely with our Data Scientists, SEO and Product and engineering teams to pioneer how our brand appears in the AI-powered search era.

How your role will look like:

• LLM Traffic Growth - Drive measurable traffic from AI-powered search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) to ImmoScout24, with direct accountability for month-over-month growth and market leadership positioning.
• AI Visibility & Citation Dominance - Own ImmoScout24's presence across LLM platforms by maximizing citation frequency, improving content retrieval rates, and systematically optimizing for AI model selection criteria.
• GEO & AEO Strategy & Execution - Lead end-to-end implementation of GEO & AEO initiatives, translating strategic vision into concrete action plans with measurable KPIs and cross-functional delivery timelines.
• Performance Analytics & Optimization - Build and maintain frameworks to track LLM traffic patterns, citation performance, and conversion metrics. Continuously analyse what makes content citation-worthy and iterate on optimization strategies.
• Cross-Functional Leadership - Align and drive SEO, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams around GEO & AEO priorities. Secure organizational buy-in and resources needed to achieve traffic and visibility targets.
• Executive Reporting & Business Cases - Deliver quarterly performance reports, ROI analyses, and strategic roadmaps that translate AI visibility metrics into executive insights and justify continued investment.

What you need to succeed:

• GEO & AEO Expertise - Experience with AI search visibility, LLM-driven distribution or similar experimental domains. You've optimized large websites for AI systems or emerging search channels with measurable results.
• Deep SEO Expertise - Deep expertise in how search systems work - from crawling and indexing to ranking algorithms. You understand LLM architectures, training data dynamics and retrieval mechanisms well enough to predict how they'll surface content and you're tracking how SEO is fundamentally evolving in the AI era.
• Stakeholder Management Excellence – You've successfully led initiatives requiring buy-in from multiple stakeholders across technical and business functions. Experienced in presenting to executives, negotiating with product owners and building coalitions to drive strategic initiatives forward.
• Clear communication – Translate complex AI concepts into actionable strategies for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Forward-thinking – You stay ahead of developments in GEO/LLMO and are comfortable working where best practices are still being defined.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to drive problem-solving and productivity, maintaining effective human oversight and judgement.
