The Opportunity:
Operating at the intersection of logistics and tech has allowed Flexport to develop a unique value proposition that customers all over the globe love, resulting in exponential growth over the last 10+ years. Flexport today connects more than 10,000 clients across 100+ countries, and our role is to help businesses of all sizes find the global trade solutions that will empower their success.
With offices on three continents, our team is as global as our client base and we’re excited to continue building a product and service they love. With revenue growing at breakneck speed, we’re looking for a consultative and tenacious Inbound Sales Development Representative to join our growing Sales Team based out of our Chicago Office!
You will:
- Identify and qualify new inbound sales opportunities for Flexport
- Partner closely with marketing in developing, testing, and implementing new inbound funnels
- Work with Account Executives to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities in your market segment
- Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, and other social mediums
- Shadow Account Executives in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for the next role on the Flexport sales team.
You should have:
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree OR 1+ year of relevant experience preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- An enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects and a willingness to hop on the phone with new people every day and explain Flexport’s value propositions it relates to each individual you speak with
- A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the posting's respective region. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.
The US base salary range for this position (this does not include bonus, equity and benefits):
$55,000—$55,000 USD
