Role Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lead Business Analysis to join the Taiwan Marketplace team. You will be required to develop the business plan and visibility/dashboards needed to achieve strategic plans and goals, drive decisions and track performance on growth, KPIs like seller acquisition, seller management, selection and GMV of marketplace categories and any strategic initiatives. This role will be critical in generating data backed insights for the business and help in achieving growth goals of the business basis those insights. 

What You Will Do 

• Design, develop and improve automated reports and dashboards to 

measure performance and support business needs

• Pull and leverage data to provide proactive, actionable insights that can identify growth opportunities, increase efficiency, and/or deepen understanding of business.

• Set strategic and measurable goals, define new metrics and collaborate with other teams to achieve success on cross-team projects

• Has the potential to become a subject matter expert in areas concerning marketplace e-commerce

• Has the potential to become a people manager and manage, coach and grow Data analysts

• Build processes and KPIs reporting to align internal stakeholders on priorities and marketplace initiatives.

Basic Qualifications 

• Expertise with SQL, SQL tuning, and relational database systems

• Experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, Data Cubes, Power BI, etc.)

• Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• BA/BS/MA/MS, preferable in Finance/Marketing/Economics/Statistics; MBA is a plus

• At least 5-10 years relevant work experience in Analytics, Data Science, CRM, Strategy, Growth, Program Management. Experience across fast-paced technology-oriented organization e.g. e-commerce/Consulting/Banking/start-up is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced 

environment

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality

• Proven experience in product analysis, data reporting, or a similar role

• Able to logically break down a problem into steps and define input and output metrics

• Bilingual English/Chinese
