About The Role
WEKA is looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager focused on the Department of War. This is a quota-carrying hunter sales role targeting organizations that need uncompromising speed, simplicity, scale, and sustainability when storing, managing, processing, and analyzing their data.
Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of WEKA and the value to our customers
- Develop and execute against a strategic plan to create a sales pipeline while acquiring new logos/programs and maintaining positive ongoing relationships with current customers
- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
- Work with strategic and VAR and OEM partners to cultivate and manage joint selling opportunities
- Collaborate on and improve all aspects of the sales cycle, including product, support, and sales engineering
- Interface with many levels of WEKA senior management
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT Sales experience
- Experience selling into the Department of War, specifically Army, Air Force, or Navy
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Passion and desire to work in a startup culture, directly impacting the growth of the company
- Proven track record of effective selling within the geo
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
