Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative based in Japan (Hybrid), reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Development within the Sales Development department.
Zscaler is committed to sharing our story in compelling and expressive ways. You'll collaborate with diverse, creative people around the globe to hone the Zscaler brand, increase awareness and demand, and drive big wins for the world's cloud security leader and our customers worldwide.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Research and prospect into organizations by emailing, calling, networking, and other creative means to lead early-stage pipelines
- Qualify and schedule well-qualified appointments with main decision-makers within targeted companies through inbound and outbound leads
- Utilize the CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Customer-oriented background in sales, support, or customer service
- Proficiency in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and territory management
- Native or fluent language ability in Japanese and at least conversation-level English language ability
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Experience in an outbound-focused sales position
- Strong verbal communication skills in business English
