**Senior Data Analyst (Fintech)

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a strong financial background to drive our reporting and analytics capabilities. Working hand in hand with the Data Engineer, this specialist translates raw financial data from BigQuery into actionable insights, calculates P&L, manages reserve reporting, and automates data exports. Building the DA approach from scratch across the company. No backlog of tickets waiting for you, no manager pointing at what to fix next. Just a real business need, and the autonomy to architect the analytical layer from scratch.

Mission

Provide accurate, timely and auditable analyses and reports that support regulatory submissions, financial close and decision‑making across the business.

Ensure data integrity, traceability, and reproducibility of finance reports, reducing manual effort and operational risk.

What you will own→ Define and build the analytics foundation from data model to reporting layer

→ Finance and regulatory dashboards that stakeholders actually trust

→ Automated reporting workflows with reliable, auditable pipelines

→ Set the standards: data quality, nomenclature, processes - you define it

Stack

SQL (advanced) · dbt · Airflow / Prefect · Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift · Power BI / Tableau / Looker · Python (pandas, ETL) · Kafka / Spark (nice to have)

What you bring

✔ At least 5+ years in data analysis. Must-have: finance analytics or regulatory reporting in #payments, #fintech or #banking

✔ Proven experience building analytics from the ground up - not just inheriting and maintaining

✔ Strong #SQL and hands-on #BI experience

✔ Solid understanding of GL, reconciliations, cut-offs and basic accounting principles

✔ Self-driven: you identify what needs to be built, propose it, and deliver it - without waiting to be asked

✔ English C1/B2+ and fluent Russian
