Job Description:We look for a highly motivated Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Full-stack Engineer at Gologin, you will play a critical role in design and implementation of core app features, product performance, product quality, growing user base and company revenue. Your will directly impacting the user experience and overall success of our products.

What you will do:

— Implement new end-to-end features on backend and frontend.

— Setup top-notch tools and development techniques.

— Refactor monolith codebases.

— Investigate and fix reported bugs with the team.

— Develop new R&D sub-products.

— Monitor system metrics, availability and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

— Collaborate with various teams and managers to ensure smooth and reliable releases.

— Optimize application performance, security and scalability.

— Continuously improve the development and operational processes.

What we expect:

— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

— 3+ years of experience in Backend tasks, preferably in a product environment.

— 1+ year of experience in Frontend tasks.

— Strong experience and knowledge of vanilla JavaScript.

— Solid knowledge of TypeScript.

— Hands-on experience and deep understanding of micro-service architectures.

— Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, and others).

— Experience in queue and streaming systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, and similar).

— Experience in React and ecosystem tools (like React Query, SWR, React Router, Moment.js, Next.js or others).

— Experience and understanding of state machines (such as Redux, Zustant, Jotai or similar).

— Experience in Docker.

— Understanding of Web Vitals and how to improve them.

— Knowledge of Web Security basics.

— Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.

— Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

— Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork.

Nice to Have:

— Experience with IaaS tools..

— Deep knowledge in networks and security best practices.

— Contributions to open-source projects.
