The Role

Lucanet is a PE-backed B2B SaaS company serving the Office of Finance & Tax, currently in a pivotal growth phase. To support this journey, we are hiring a (Senior) Manager Strategic Projects to join our CEO Office and drive high-impact initiatives across the business. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will own cross-functional strategic initiatives end-to-end from structuring complex, ambiguous problems and building robust business cases, to aligning senior stakeholders and driving execution through to measurable outcomes. Your project portfolio will be diverse and dynamic, spanning topics such as AI-driven transformation, and process optimization, business analytics and international expansion, post-merger integration, and commercial or go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with our C-suite, senior leadership team, and functional leaders, acting as a trusted sparring partner and execution driver. The role offers direct exposure to board-level decision-making, a high degree of ownership, and the opportunity to actively shape Lucanet’s trajectory in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. We are open to candidates at both Manager and Senior Manager level and will calibrate scope, ownership, and expectations based on your experience and impact.

What you'll do

• Own and drive high-impact strategic initiatives end-to-end: define the problem, build structured approaches, lead cross-functional execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Develop sharp, data-driven analyses and recommendations for the C-suite, senior leadership team, and PE stakeholders, including business cases, KPI deep-dives, and market or performance assessments.
• Lead value creation initiatives aligned with Lucanet’s growth strategy, ensuring progress tracking, clear ownership, and accountability across workstreams.
• Act as a central connector across functions (product, sales, finance, engineering, and others) to remove blockers, improve decision-making, and ensure strategic alignment.
• Anticipate risks, dependencies, and execution gaps early, and actively drive mitigation to keep strategic priorities on track.
• Create clear, compelling executive-level presentations, frameworks, and narratives that enable faster, better leadership decisions.
• Bring structure to ambiguity and move topics from idea to execution in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

What you bring to the table

• Several years of experience (typically 2–6+) in management consulting, corporate strategy, Chief of Staff, or strategic project management roles, with exposure to senior stakeholders and complex business challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to break down ambiguous problems and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• High ownership mentality: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks, and proactively fix what isn’t working.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with credibility and confidence when working with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, written and verbal, with the ability to distill complexity into crisp, executive-ready outputs.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
• Curiosity and learning agility, combined with a strong bias toward action and impact.
• Academic background with strong credentials (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• Experience in SaaS, PE-backed, or high-growth environments, exposure to value creation, commercial strategy, post-merger integration, or go-to-market topics is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with modern data and AI tools beyond PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage; German language skills are helpful but not required.
