Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Identity
Location: Palo Alto, CA
The Mission
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Identity, you will drive the GTM motions for Rubrik’s most critical growth driver: Identity. In a world where identity is the new perimeter and the #1 target for attackers, you will be the architect of the narrative that positions Rubrik as the undisputed leader in Cyber Resilience.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between deep-track engineering and high-stakes boardroom needs. This is a career-defining opportunity to scale a high-growth business unit from the ground up. Please note that this role is based at our Palo Alto HQ.
What You’ll Do
Narrative Excellence & Technical Depth
- Translate the Tech: Take complex technical insights—AD, Entra, Okta—and turn them into a compelling story that disrupts the market.
- Master the Chess Board: Maintain a relentless pulse on the competitive landscape. Ensure Rubrik’s positioning is always three steps ahead of the next breach.
- Boardroom to Basement: Refine a value proposition that resonates with deep-track technical practitioners and non-technical C-Suite executives alike.
Field Enablement & Operations
- Execute High-Velocity Launches: Lead high-impact product launches that cement Rubrik’s status as a category-of-one. No boring webinars—only market-moving events.
- Build the Kill-Sheets: Create the sales tools, playbooks, and competitive battlecards that empower our global sales force to neutralize the competition and win big.
- Fuel the Pipeline: Partner with Demand Gen to build programmatic campaigns that go beyond "awareness" to drive real, measurable conversion.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 8+ years of product marketing experience
- Domain Expertise: Deep fluency in the Identity Security and Resilience space. You know who the players are, where the gaps lie, and how to win.
- Storytelling: A proven ability to take "under-the-hood" technology and turn it into a simple, emotional, and urgent business story. You know how to rise above the noise.
- Execution: A track record of owning end-to-end GTM initiatives that activate every corner of the business—from engineering, sales, product management to the executive board.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
