💻 Hiring: Staff Fullstack Engineer - Morpho

Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol experiencing explosive growth with over $10 billion in deposits. The company recently secured $50 million from prominent investors including a16z crypto Coinbase Ventures and others to build an open lending network that gives anyone anywhere access to the best possible terms.
The company is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer whose mission is to design build and scale Morpho’s full-stack systems enabling teams to ship fast reliably and securely across products handling billions in TVL.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Architect and own end-to-end delivery across web apps APIs and indexers to ship user-visible impact quickly and safely.
- Design a scalable API and SDK strategy with clear versioning and documentation to support hundreds of external integrators.
- Build high-performance data pipelines over on-chain events using intelligent caching and query optimization to maintain sub-second UIs.
- Raise engineering standards by leading design reviews mentoring 5–10 engineers and enhancing testing observability and reliability.
- Improve system performance and cost efficiency through profiling and pragmatic architectural improvements that reduce p95 latency.
- Partner closely with product protocol and business leads to clarify scope tradeoffs and success metrics for faster value delivery.
- Own incident readiness including dashboards alerts and on-call practices to maintain healthy critical paths.
🔑 Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of experience building and operating full-stack applications at scale with demonstrated business impact.
- Proven track record designing high-availability systems capable of handling millions of daily requests.
- Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives even without formal authority.
- Deep expertise in modern TypeScript for both client and server-side development.
- Strong adaptability across frontend backend and data layers combined with clear async communication ownership autonomy team-first mindset low ego first-principles thinking and bias for action.
