Who You’ll Be Working With

As an AI & Software Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of talented engineers focused on solving complex challenges, developing AI-driven solutions, and shaping the technology stack that powers Alli’s Actions, Data, or Insights pillars.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering career growth and technical excellence.
• Work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, where ideas turn into impactful solutions quickly.
• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for Alli’s AI-powered solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term success.
• Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven features that help brands make smarter marketing decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions that enhance performance and drive measurable results.
• Guide the team in best practices for clean code, automated testing, version control, and scalable architecture.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and testing, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI and machine learning technologies, championing innovation that shapes the future of marketing technology.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of software development experience with object-oriented programming, delivering scalable and maintainable solutions with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related experience.
• 2+ years leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth
• 2+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, ensuring team success.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, system architecture, and SOLID engineering principles.
• Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies, including Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), and Go.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application management.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible to streamline deployment processes.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams, aligning engineering efforts with business objectives.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering real-world impact and continuous improvement.
• Experience in digital marketing or advertising technology and its intersection with engineering solutions.
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Kafka.
• A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a continual learner, staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a customer-focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
• A dedication to people-focused leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by leading by example and nurturing strong relationships that empower others to excel.
• Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to client teams, leveraging expertise in media, technology, and emerging trends.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages for data manipulation, analysis, and process automation.
• Experience in a client-facing role, providing both technical advice and strategic insights to help clients achieve their goals

Nice To Have Qualifications

• Interest or familiarity working in the Digital Marketing industry
• AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification
• Prior experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
