What You’ll Do:
As a Director, Agency Partnerships, you will support sales efforts exclusively across key WPP agency clients. You’ll gain deep knowledge of our DSP and data capabilities and contribute directly to both self-service and managed service revenue growth. You’ll bring a strong hunter mindset to the role, proactively identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships and close new business across agency teams.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success, Platform Operations, Strategy, Marketing, Product & Engineering to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term partnership growth. You’ll also work in close alignment with the Client Direct Partnerships team to ensure alignment across agency and brand.
You’ll report to the Senior Director of Agency Partnerships and play a key role in driving DeepIntent’s commercial success and market impact within the agency and healthcare advertising ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue across a select group of key WPP pharma accounts by connecting DeepIntent’s platform solutions with agency partners and healthcare marketers.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across WPP Planning, Investment, and Trading teams, while identifying new business opportunities with a hunter mentality to expand existing accounts and close net new deals.
- Lead end-to-end sales efforts for DeepIntent’s full product suite, including independently designing, negotiating, and executing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) directly with agencies or brands, with a focus on closing large-scale upsell opportunities.
- Deliver compelling, customized sales presentations and platform demos that align with client goals, while also responding to RFPs/RFIs and positioning DeepIntent competitively through deep market insight and platform expertise.
- Collaborate with Client Success and Platform Support to ensure smooth onboarding, ongoing client satisfaction, and technically-informed client interactions.
- Act as a strategic voice of the agency client internally, informing the product roadmap through cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Strategy.
- Partner closely with our Client Partnerships team to align agency and brand-side relationships
- Stay current on industry trends, platform capabilities, and competitive landscape through active participation in training and events.
- Stay curious and informed by attending industry events, trainings, and conferences
Who You Are:
- 6+ years experience working with programmatic platform technologies, Data, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges, Ad Servers and Verification tools.
- 6+ years working in AdTech in a business development capacity with a focus on monetizing enterprise software and programmatic solutions with holding companies and agencies.
- Strong knowledge of and relationships with agencies and programmatic teams.
- Experience working with Healthcare/Pharma marketers and their agencies.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales goals.
- Ability to analyze performance data and make compelling recommendations for internal strategy, as well as client optimization recommendations.
- You have great passion for programmatic advertising and a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
- You have a desire to work in a rapidly growing and ever-changing startup, and bring a proactive, hunter mentality that drives you to uncover and close new business opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, well organized, flexible, comfortable working independently, and have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies.
- Self-motivated with high energy and willingness to adapt.
DeepIntent is proud to offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of a base salary range of $150,000 -$170,000. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
