ROLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a driven and hands on Account Manager to lead event strategy, logistics planning, and client operations for a leading Canadian coffee brand across Ontario.
This role serves as the primary regional lead, owning client relationships, overseeing field teams, and managing the planning, deployment, and performance of mobile activations throughout the region.
The successful candidate will translate client objectives into actionable activation plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure operational excellence across all events.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager on the account and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and field leadership teams to drive program success.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
CLIENT AND ACCOUNT LEADERSHIP
- Serve as the strategic regional contact for the client, overseeing planning, execution, and performance across all activations
- Ensure all activations align with brand standards and program objectives
- Maintain proactive communication, flag risks early, and identify opportunities to enhance the program
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and regional growth
- Represent the brand and agency professionally across all client interactions
EVENT STRATEGY & PLANNING
- Lead regional event planning from intake to execution
- Develop activation timelines, staffing models, and logistics plans
- Coordinate with clients, venues, vendors, and internal teams
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans
- Oversee permit requirements, insurance documentation, and compliance planning
TEAM LEADERSHIP AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Develop and mentor Drivers and brand ambassadors across the region
- Set execution standards and enforce accountability
- Act as the escalation point for onsite operational or personnel challenges
- Deliver structured updates and performance reports to the Senior Manager
LOGISTICS & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- Forecast staffing and vehicle allocation across regional calendar
- Manage transportation planning and route optimization
- Oversee warehouse coordination and asset readiness
- Ensure proper inventory forecasting and replenishment cycles
- Manage third-party vendors (fuel, maintenance, rentals, travel, etc.)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
LEADERSHIP & FIELD MANAGEMENT
- 3 plus years of experience in event marketing, experiential, or field operations
- Proven ability to lead drivers, brand ambassadors, and field teams
- Strong client facing presence with experience managing expectations and building long term relationships
- Confident managing live activations and resolving issues in real time
OPERATIONS, LOGISTICS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCY
- Experience managing mobile assets, inventory, and multi-event logistics and planning through execution
- Ensure all regional mobile assets are compliant, operational, and properly staffed for activations.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, or equipment issues and coordinate appropriate resolution
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
- Comfortable supporting onsite activations when required, including physical setup and long event days
FLEET AND COMPLIANCE
- Valid full G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Oversee regional fleet scheduling, compliance tracking, and documentation requirements
- Develop and manage preventative and seasonal maintenance schedules across the regional fleet
- Track service history, vendor performance, and asset readiness to ensure uninterrupted program delivery
ADAPTABILITY & AVAILABILITY
- Operate with a high degree of independence and accountability as the regional program lead
- Demonstrate strong decision-making judgment, balancing autonomy with structured communication and reporting
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel throughout Ontario
- Comfortable working remotely while managing
