About the role:

As a Professional Services Field Consultant (FC), you will join our team as an essential contributor, helping our strategic customers successfully deploy and adopt Rubrik’s data security and cyber resilience platform. This is a crucial, customer-facing role designed for a motivated individual ready to rapidly build expertise in modern hybrid cloud environments.

We are looking for a highly responsible and trustworthy professional eager to take ownership of tasks and deliverables. The ideal candidate must be open to change, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, and demonstrate the ability torapidly learn and adapt to new technologies. You will support senior consultants, execute complex configuration tasks, and assist in providing customers with optimised data management solutions.

What you'll do:

• Implementation Execution: Work closely with Customer, Sales and Project Manager to execute and support the implementation projects, ensuring configurations and deployments are completed accurately and on time.
• Customer Trust and Reliability: Consistently demonstrate responsibility and follow-through on assigned tasks, contributing to a relationship of trust with client technical teams.
• Technical Assistance: Assist with the end-to-end installation, initial configuration, and optimisation of Rubrik solutions, focusing on cluster deployment, policy setup, and infrastructure integration.
• Feature Adoption Support: Support the deployment and configuration of advanced features like cyber recovery workflows, immutable backup policies, and secure platform management.
• Knowledge Development & Transfer: Absorb and apply technical product knowledge, assisting senior team members in providing effective education to customer operations teams on best practices.
• Project Support: Support project coordination efforts, assist in managing internal resources, and help track activities to ensure deliverables stay within scope and time constraints.
• Continuous Learning: Maintain a commitment to being a fast learner, proactively seeking training and certifications to stay current with Rubrik features, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and emerging industry trends.
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation of high-quality deployment documentation, configuration guides, and operational best practices.

Experience you'll need:

Experience & Technical Acumen

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, migrating, or supporting Enterprise IT Infrastructure environments (Storage, Networking, Virtualisation, or Backup/Recovery).
• Experience assisting on multi-month engagements, supporting the ingestion of workloads (Databases, NAS, Virtualisation) with customer resources.
• Expertise in translating basic technical concepts into actionable tasks and demonstrating task ownership (responsibility).
• Good hands on knowledge on Rubrik products and Technology
• Working knowledge of public cloud concepts and fundamental exposure to infrastructure services across at least one major provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Conceptual understanding of various NAS technologies and experience with file-level storage.
• Exposure to Kubernetes concepts and container data protection strategies is a plus.
