We’re hiring a Global Payroll Specialist to oversee and coordinate payroll operations across multiple countries in an outsourced setup. The role will report to Global Payroll Manager and focuses on payroll governance, controls, and continuous improvement of processes rather than hands-on payroll processing.

What You Will Be Doing

Payroll Oversight & Coordination

• Act as point of contact for external payroll providers
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery across all countries
• Coordinate monthly payroll cycles and deadlines
• Act as backup to Global Payroll Manager when needed

Controls & Compliance

• Perform payroll validations and reconciliations
• Review payroll reports and identify discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
• Support audits and maintain documentation

Process Development

• Help build, standardize, and improve payroll processes globally
• Develop clear workflows and documentation
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives

Data & Systems

• Manage payroll inputs from HR system (HiBob)
• Ensure data quality and completeness
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Finance for reporting and reconciliations
• Support HR with payroll-related queries
• Communicate with vendors to resolve issues

Who You Are

• 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a global and outsourced environment
• Strong understanding of payroll controls and processes
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Comfortable working with HRIS and payroll systems

You are structured and process-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in everything you do. You approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and are comfortable navigating complexity in a fast-paced environment. You are also a strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies in an international setting.
