The Head of Benefits leads the global strategy, design, governance, and delivery of Nebius’ employee benefits programs. You will ensure our benefits framework supports employee wellbeing, reinforces our high-performance culture, and remains competitive and scalable during rapid company growth.
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you will serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership, Finance, Legal, and senior business stakeholders to ensure benefits programs are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with our global people strategy.
Key responsibilities
Benefits Strategy & Architecture
- Design and evolve global benefits programs including health & wellbeing, retirement/pension, risk benefits (life, disability) and time-off policies. Ensure offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with company growth and workforce demographics.
Global Governance & Policy Frameworks
- Establish global eligibility frameworks, harmonised policies, and governance standards while allowing for necessary local market variation. Ensure consistency and fairness across geographies.
Financial Oversight & Vendor Management
- Own benefits budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling. Lead relationships and negotiations with brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators to optimize value, service quality, and risk management.
Employee Experience & Communication
- Build a clear benefits narrative and create communication materials (FAQs, guides, enrollment materials, manager toolkits) to ensure employees understand and value their total rewards package. Drive benefits education and engagement strategies.
Key/specific qualifications, knowledge & experiences
- Significant experience leading global benefits strategy in high-growth, international environments (technology sector experience preferred).
- Deep technical knowledge of health & welfare, retirement, risk benefits, and wellbeing program design across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with major global brokers, benefits administration platforms, and HRIS systems.

- Strategic Clarity: Ability to translate complex equity concepts into simple, persuasive narratives for diverse stakeholders.
