An Introduction to Primer

🔍 What will you be doing?
- Own a mission-critical function at Primer by defining and executing the global partnerships strategy at the core of Primer for Partners and our ecosystem-led growth model.
- Build a product-led partner ecosystem through Primer for Partners, enabling scalable, low-touch onboarding and partner autonomy.
- Drive execution velocity across the Partner lifecycle from sourcing to go-live, embedding urgency and clear activation timelines.
- Turn partnerships into a primary growth channel by building a predictable, high-quality pipeline engine for Sales through co-selling, referrals, and partner-led distribution.
- Expand into new partnership channels including consultants, system integrators, platforms, and other indirect routes to market.
- Standardise commercial and incentive models to align partner behaviour with activation, depth, and revenue contribution.
- Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to embed partnerships into Primer’s core operating model.
- Build a data-driven partnerships function with clear attribution, performance tracking, and continuous optimisation loops.
👀 What we’d love to see:
- Strategic partnerships leader with 8+ years of experience who can build an ecosystem that becomes central to company growth, not just manage relationships.
- Experienced operator in payments / fintech ecosystems, ideally across PSPs, platforms, or infrastructure players.
- Proven builder of revenue and pipeline channels through partnerships, with clear evidence of commercial impact.
- Strong commercial and deal-making capability across complex, high-value partnerships and scalable agreements.
- Product-led mindset with conviction around scalable, self-serve, and low-friction partner models.
- Operationally rigorous, able to translate strategy into execution, metrics, and repeatable processes.
- People leader and team builder, with experience hiring, structuring, and scaling high-performing partnerships teams.
- Executive-level stakeholder manager, credible with both senior partners and internal leadership.
- Builder mentality, comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping a function during a pivotal phase of company growth.
