THIS ROLE IS BASED IN BANGKOK, THAILAND (WITH RELOCATION PROVIDED)

The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst,you will be responsible and fully empowered to work with the partners on the ground. You will be supported by a team within the Product department and work closely with other Team members within Agoda. You will be instrumental in ensuring there is consistency in data being used for reporting, identifying value-added data to help the business grow as well as using data to make strategic business decisions. You will be expected to dig into data to provide business insights, guide decision-making and offer valuable inputs to further grow our business model.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business briefs into structured analytical projects by clarifying objectives, defining key questions, and outlining deliverables.
• Analyze large-scale data sets to deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct deep dives into customer behavior and language performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize user journeys.
• Support translation automation and MT / AI translation workflows
• Launch data-driven initiatives, develop dashboards, and automate processes for greater efficiency.
• Lead new analytics projects to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and drive organizational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics).
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis, transformation, and automation.
• Skilled in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase) for building interactive dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities; experienced in A/B testing and experimental analysis.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy and quality. - Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate across teams
