We are looking for a Manager, Software Development Engineer based in Bangalore or Hyderabad on a hybrid basis, reporting to the Director, Software Development Engineering. As a key leader within the Zero Trust Exchange department, you will lead a team of software engineers to prototype, design, develop, and deploy cloud-native ZPA control plane and datapath features. You will drive on-call responsibilities and lead production incidents to resolution with a focus on engineering excellence.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Lead a networking and systems team consisting of individual contributors from the software engineering discipline
• Prototype, design, develop, and support a scalable SaaS-based cloud service product called ZTNA and Inline applications
• Build large scale enterprise products while thinking creatively and solving complex problems
• Manage and motivate teams with a focus on continuous learning and engineering excellence

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience in networking and systems software products, including deep experience of TCP/IP, UDP, and networking protocols
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining a large code base with C programming, firewall policies, and control-plane areas
• Experience driving development and QA processes, including technical architecture documentation, functional testing, and end-to-end automation
• Strong background working cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and Support teams

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Possession of a BTech/BE, MS, or equivalent technical degree
• Professional experience within the Cloud Security domain
